While our origins lie in the Episcopal Church, we are interfaith and inclusive in our ministry, mission, staffing and board representation. Since our founding in 1834, The Seamen’s Church Institute has set the standard for mariner advocacy, education and pastoral care—we meet the mariner wherever they may be, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with them on their best and worst days.
